The preparatory wing of Yadavindra Public School organised its annual Visual and Performing Arts Exhibition, offering a vibrant and inspiring showcase of talented students across multiple disciplines. The exhibition featured a diverse array of student projects, highlighting hobbies such as Handicraft, Robotics, Kidz Snax, Working with Nature, 6and Pottery. Each display reflected the year-long efforts of the students, blending innovation with creativity in a visual feast of colors, designs and ideas.

St Xavier’s, Sector 44

To foster sportsmanship and teamwork among the students in their early childhood, St Xavier's Senior Secondary School, Sector 44, organised its Sports Day for Classes Nursery to 2 with great enthusiasm and zeal. A variety of class relay events like hula hoop, chef race and toy train race was organised for the students. The parents also participated in obstacle race event. The winners were awarded medals and certificates by the principal.

Gillco international

Gillco International School conducted the draw of lots ceremony for admission to grade nursery. The ceremony was attended by parents, teachers, and students. Over 50 students were picked for the admission during the draw of lots, said Principal Kritika Kaushal.

Delhi Public School, Chandigarh

The school hosted its Inter-National Swimming Meet Girls (U-14) 2018. DPS schools from all over the country participated in the event. Daljeet Kaur, senior dermatologist, Fortis Hospital, Mohali, and national swimmer Chahat Arora were the guest of honour. DR Saini, Director, Delhi Public School Society, was the guest of honour at the valedictory and the prize distribution ceremony.

Sacred Heart, Sector 26

Sacred Heart School, Sector 26, witnessed an evening of nostalgia, joy, and celebration as the students of Class 11 hosted a grand farewell party for the outgoing Class 12 batch. The event was marked by a series of vibrant performances, heartfelt speeches and cherished memories, creating a fitting send-off for the graduating students. The farewell commenced with an array of fun-filled Bollywood songs and dance performances by the talented students of Class 11.

Saint Soldier International

Devvert Singh, a student of Saint Soldier International School, Sector 28, brought home a bronze medal from the SGFI (School Games Federation of India) National Lawn Tennis Tournament in the U-19 category. The tournament, held in Ranchi, Jharkhand, saw fierce competition from across the country and Devvert's remarkable performance on the court earned him this well-deserved win.

Aryans Group of Colleges

Aryans Group of Colleges became the education partner

of the Union Territory Cricket Association (UTCA) Chandigarh for the first-ever franchise-based cricket “Chandra Shekhar Azad T20 Tournament”. The opening ceremony was also attended by Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairperson, Aryans Group of Colleges. A total of 33 will be played in the event and teams of HIIMS Hawks, Talanoa Tigers, Punjab Panthers, Wild Wood Warriors, City Challengers, and Manohar Mavericks are participating.

Desh Bhagat Dental College

Desh Bhagat Dental College and Hospital increased the intake of students for Master in Dental Surgery (MDS) in the Department of Orthodontics and the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics. The intake capacity has been raised following successful inspections and meeting the set parameters by the Dental Council of India, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

MCM DAV College

The Library Committee of Mehr Chand Mahajan DAV College for Women, Sector 36, organised a two-day workshop on KOHA Library Software. The event aimed to enhance the digital skills of the library staff, and introduce students and faculty to the advanced features of the KOHA software, particularly the Web-OPAC (Web-Based Online Public Access Catalogue). The training session was part of the college's ongoing efforts to modernise its library services, and provide seamless remote access to its vast collection of resources.
