Amid inauguration of 13 Schools of Eminence by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal across Punjab from Ludhiana, MLA Mohali Kulwant Singh dedicated the second School of Eminence in the district in Phase-11, today.

About Rs 11.50 crore has been spent on its construction and students from classes VI to XII will study here. Fresh admissions for Class IX will be based on entrance exam.

The MLA highlighted the contribution of late Amrik Singh Tehsildar, former councillor, who had helped a lot for making the dream come true. He said Tehsildar and his family members worked wholeheartedly towards the school’s development.

Singh said the emergence of ‘Schools of Eminence’ across Punjab is a step towards the education revolution of Punjab. Additional Deputy Commissioner Viraj Shyamkaran Tidke, DSP City-2 Harsimran Singh Bal, Aam Aadmi Party leader Kuldeep Singh Samana, District Education Officer Fatehgarh Sahib Ginni Duggal were also present.
