The men’s fencing team of GGDSD College, Sector 32, won the Panjab University Inter-College Championship. The Sector 32 team lifted the overall trophy by scoring a total of 40 points. SGGS Khalsa College, Mahilpur, finished at second position with 15 points, followed by the Panjab University campus team at third position with 14 points.
In the individual category, the fencer of the Sector 32 won one gold and one silver each in foil event. In epee, the Sector 32 fencers won one gold, one silver and two bronze medals. The Sector 32 fencers won a gold each in the foil and epee team event, followed by winning the bronze medal in sabre event.

Meanwhile, GGDSD swimmers also won the Panjab University Inter-college Waterpolo Championship. In the final match, the Sector 32 based college defeated SGGS College, Sector 26, by 13-4. Panjab University Campus team bagged third position.
