Two days after a prostitution racket was busted at Kajheri in Sector 52, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Sector 61 police post, the UT Police Department today transferred Sub-Inspector Mini Bhardwaj, in-charge of the police post, to the Police Lines. The transfer orders were issued by SSP Nilambari Jagadale.

A prostitution racket was recently busted at a hotel in Kajheri after the ASP (South) got a tip-off following which a raid was conducted and 10 women were rescued. The local police were unaware about the prostitution racket being operated from the area.

Meanwhile, Inspector Sri Parkash, who was posted in the traffic wing, has been transferred to the Economic Offences Wing. Inspector Gurjeet Kaur was transferred from the Police Lines to the traffic wing. Their transfer orders were issued by SP Manoj Kumar Meena. — TNS
