Chandigarh: A Sector 45 resident has been arrested by the operations cell of the UT police with heroin. The police said the suspect, Sandeep Singh, alias Soni (34), a resident of Burail, Sector 45, was nabbed from Sector 27 with 23 gm of heroin. A case has been registered under the NDPS Act at the Sector 26 police station. TNS

Youth arrested on theft charge

Chandigarh: A Ram Darbar resident was caught while committing a theft at a house in Mani Majra. According to the police, complainant Mintu Kumar alleged that the suspect, Gaurav (26), was caught while stealing jewellery from his house. Golden chance results out

Chandigarh: The PU has announced the results of various golden chance examinations held in August and September. A PU spokesperson said the results of MA (Geography) first year, Advance Diploma in Fine Arts for Divyang fourth semester, Diploma in Fine Arts for Divyang sixth semester and Master of Science (Industrial Chemistry) fourth semester had been announced. Art teachers form assn
