Major Aman Singh has been conferred the Sena Medal (Gallantry) on Independence Day.

The Phase-10 Mohali resident led a successful counter-insurgency operation on November 10, 2019, in which two terrorists were eliminated including a top Lashkar-e-Toiba commander in North Kashmir District Bandipore. 

An alumnus of St. Stephen’s School and SGGS, Sector 26, Chandigarh, the officer was commissioned in the Armoured Corps in September 2009.

Presently, he is serving in the Babina, (UP).
