Over 150 senior citizens from across the city attended the event. As older adults increasingly rely on digital platforms for banking and communication, the event aimed to educate them on the risks posed by cybercriminals and how to avoid falling prey to scams.

Experts from the Chandigarh Police Cyber Cell and the RBI presented detailed insights on phishing, UPI frauds, OTP misuse and other digital threats. Through real-life case studies and live demonstrations, attendees were taught to spot red flags, secure their online transactions and report cybercrime on helpline 1930 or cybercrime.gov.in.

The event was coordinated by Deepika Gandhi, former Director of the Le Corbusier Centre, and organised by NK Kaushal and RK Garg.
