The Day 2 of the ongoing workshop on yoga – “The Scientific Way of Living” – was attended by BK Anita, senior rajyoga teacher and centre in-charge of Global Peace House, Sector 15.

The workshop is being organised by the Government College of Yoga Education & Health, Sector 23, in collaboration with Film Studies UIFVA & UITTR, Chandigarh University, Gharuan.

BK Anita spoke about the seven energies that are necessary for leading a blissful life. She stressed that meditation is the key for the journey in words, a journey of self-discovery and re-discovery. This was followed by a practical session on meditation by BK Preeti.

A session on basics of shatkarmas (trataka) was conducted by Sarghi Kohli, in which she explained the theoretical and practical aspects of trataka. It was followed by a session on yogic ways of healthy living by Dr Mohinder Kumar. He explained the yogic ways through which one can lead a disease-free life.

A practical session on advance asanas and pranayama was conducted by Roshan Lal.
