SGGS College judokas lift overall trophy

Sri Guru Gobind Singh (SGGS) College, Sector 26, won the Panjab University Inter-College Judo Tournament for Men. The Sector 26 team won the overall trophy by scoring 25 points. The judokas won five medals each in the 60kg category, 65kg category and 73kg category. The judokas also won three medals in the 81kg, one medal in 90kg weight category, five medals in the 100kg category and one medal in the 100kg category.

The team of Goswami Ganesh Dutta Sanatan Dharma (GGDSD) College, Sector 32, claimed the overall second position with 21 points. The team won three medals in the 60kg, one medal in the 66kg, three medals in the 73kg, one medal in the 81kg, five medals in the 90kg, three medals in the 100kg and five medals in the 100kg weight category. GNC, Narangwal, claimed this third position by scoring 12 points.

The team won one medal in the 73kg, five medal in the 81kg event, three medals in the 90kg and three medals in the 100kg event.
