Richa Sharma, an MBA student from Chandigarh Business School of Administration, Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC), Landran, bagged gold medal in the 10m air rifle (NR) senior category at the 29th Himachal Pradesh State Shooting Championship.

Richa scored 396 points out of the total 400. She credited her father, an Indian Army veteran, for her interest in the sport and stated that she took up shooting while they were stationed at Jaipur. She earlier won gold medals in district, state and national-level shooting competitions.
