Mohali: The Mohali Rifle Association will organise District Shooting Championship, 2021, on September 28 at Salvo Shooters Arena, Sector 70, here. Competitions will be conducted for .177 air rifle/pistol, .22 rifle,.22 standard pistol, .22 free pistol, .22 sports pistol and centre fire pistol events for different age groups of men and women. Entries will be accepted on the spot on the day of competition till 1pm.

The entry fee for air-rifle, pistol events is Rs600 and for small bore is Rs800. Only new players or those who are not qualified for All-India GV Mavlankar Shooting Championship can participate in this event. Shooters who are participating individually without an academy affiliated to the DRSA, Mohali, have to pay Rs2,000 as annual membership fee.

Those shooters who are from affiliated academies have to pay Rs500 as annual membership fee. Keeping in view the pandemic, all shooters and officials have been instructed to observe the Covid-19 safety protocols.
