Kulwant Singh, Aam Aadmi Party candidate from the Mohali Assembly constituency, received a shot in the arm after a large number of SAD workers, led by its woman president Ranjana, joined AAP and pledged support to him.

Former Mayor and AAP candidate Kulwant Singh said it was a matter of satisfaction for him and his party that several leaders of the Congress and the SAD were joining AAP. People of the constituency were running AAP’s election campaign on their own.

Speaking on the occasion, Ranjana said they had made up their mind to support Kulwant Singh due to his policies, dedication for the welfare of people and development works carried out by him in the past.

Ghamdar Ali Ansari, Islamuddin, Suman, Kalawati, Anil Ram, Ballu Kumar, Pinki Devi, Daljit Singh, Mantu, Imran Ali Azad Ali, Piare Khan, Arshad Ali and a large number of women leaders joined AAP on the occasion.
