Reet Kapoor from the city got a major shot in the arm as the Indian Cycling team won the silver medal in the 41st Senior and 28th Junior Asian Track Cycling Championship in New Delhi today.

Korea won gold medal and Kazakhstan bagged the bonze medal.

Earlier, Reet, a student of Carmel Convent School, became the first female cyclist from the city who made it to the Indian team. She also won a bronze in the ongoing Khelo India Youth Games.
