Mohali, June 21

Two suspects arrested in the gruesome murder of a Nagal resident, whose headless body was found partially buried in Siswan close to the Punjab Chief Minister’s farmhouse, have been sent to four-day police remand.

The police are yet to recover the severed head of the deceased and a hunt is on for the third suspect, Jagir Singh, alias Ghola.

“Satnam Singh and Des Raj were produced in a court and sent to four-day police remand,” said Mullanpur SHO Satinder Singh.

The deceased, Nagal resident Sucha Singh (40), and the suspects were known to each other. The suspects beheaded the victim after an arguement and buried his body.
