The police have registered a case against six persons, including Baltana police post in-charge Kulwant Singh, in connection with suicide by hotelier Deepak Kumar at Preet Colony yesterday.

The six persons named in the suicide note are ASI Kulwant Singh, Davinder Singh Rana, Prem Manocha, Mani Gupta, Ravi Arora and Vipin Chhabra.

On the orders of Mohali SSP Satinder Singh, a case has been registered against the suspects under Section 306 of the IPC at the Zirakpur police post and an inquiry started. All suspects are yet to be arrested. — TNS
