The police have booked six persons for vandalising and stealing foundation stones meant for developmental works inaugurated by former Health Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu at Tangori and Badhi villages. The suspects have been identified as Meena, Bhupinder Kaur and Sahib Kaur of Tangori and Jarnail Singh of Badhi.

Two more suspects are yet to be identified. The police have registered a case at the Sohana police station following a complaint by the BDPO, Kharar. The police said foundation stones were vandalised at night and had to be replaced in the morning as Sidhu had to inaugurate the works. The foundation stone of a community centre was stolen after inauguration. — TNS
