Six Congress leaders today resigned from the primary membership of the party.

Those who resigned included Jagdeep Mahajan, Rajneesh Bhardwaj, Charanjeet Sharma (all former general secretaries of the city unit of the Congress), Dinesh Sharma (former vice-president), Harvinder Singh Goldy (former secretary), and S Beant Singh (vice-president).

The disgruntled members blamed former MP and senior Congress leader Pawan Kumar Bansal for the move.
