Four family members and two workplace contacts of a Covid-19 patient of Sector 16 here tested positive for coronavirus today, taking the tally to 334.

The four family members include the mother (56), father (60), grandfather (80) and daughter (5) of an already positive patient. However, his wife has tested negative. The family runs a chemist shop in Sector 16.

All four workplace contacts have also been found positive, but two of them are from Punjab and have been added to the state tally. Two others are from Sector 16 and Dhanas here.

Four patients discharged

Four residents from Bapu Dham Colony, Sector 26, here, were discharged from Shri Dhanwantry Ayurvedic College and Hospital after getting cured of the infection. They have been shifted to the post-discharge quarantine facility at Sood Dharmshala.
