Six more prominent individuals from the city have been nominated as members of the Administrator’s Advisory Council, bringing the total strength of the panel to 60 members. The newly inducted members include Additional Solicitor General of India, Satya Pal Jain; UT Cricket Association President, Sanjay Tandon; former mayors Devesh Moudgil and Anoop Gupta; former Haryana Assembly Speaker, Gian Chand Gupta; and Dr Ravinder Nath.

Earlier, 54 members were nominated to the Council when it was reconstituted on December 31, 2024. The panel’s term is set for two years, concluding on December 31, 2026.
