The Chandigarh Police have arrested a youth involved in several incidents of snatching. Vikram Masih alias Raja (23) had snatched a mobile phone on October 18.

Sanya (26) of Sector 44 said she was walking near her home when two scooter-borne suspects snatched her phone. A case was registered. The scooter used in the crime was stolen from Sohana, the police said.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
