Eventually, the child’s body was recovered from the water, but he could not be revived. DCP Gupta appealed to residents to exercise extreme caution, reminding them that Section 163 restrictions remain in force. She warned that river currents can fluctuate suddenly, creating dangerous conditions. Parents were urged to strictly prevent their children from venturing near rivers, streams, or other hazardous spots.

The operation was personally overseen by ACP Vikram Nehra and Sector 5 SHO Rupesh Chaudhary, who supervised the relief efforts at the site.
