Officials of the crime branch today arrested a man for smuggling of heroin.

The suspect has been identified as Ravi (31), a resident of Baroda village in Sonepat district. On a tip-off, the police formed a team and nabbed the suspect from Sector 28. His search led to recovery of 17.61 gram of heroin.

A local court sent him to two-day police remand.
