Mohali, November 6

Research scholars and medical students will undergo Covid testing before joining their respective colleges and universities in Mohali district.

Students of final year were tested today while those of other classes would have to undergo testing on November 12.

Every student would have to give an affidavit/self-declaration that he would follow the instructions regarding Covid issued by the state government such as wearing a mask, keeping sanitisers, maintaining social distancing and avoiding aimless movement on the college campus.

The students would be able to take food to their hostel rooms and the colleges would have to get samples of employees of the mess for Covid testing. Outsiders would not be permitted to enter the college mess. They would be allowed to enter the college in emergency after getting the approval of the authorities.
