Women’s U-23 T20 League

Chandigarh: The Union Territory Cricket Association (UTCA) Chandigarh will host the Women’s U-23 T20 League (Elite Group) matches in Chandigarh from November 24 to December 1. Six teams from Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha and Bihar will compete in the week-long tournament. Matches will be played across two venues — Cricket Stadium, Sector 16, and GMSSS-26, Chandigarh. Knockout of the tournament will be played in Delhi.

Wrestling Inter-College Tournament

Chandigarh: Goswami Ganesh Dutta Sanatan Dharma (GGDSD) College claimed the overall trophy of the Panjab University (PU) Wrestling Inter-College Tournament. The grapplers of the Sector 32-based college scored 625 points to win the gold medal. Shri Ram College, Dalla (Jagraon), finished second with 400 points.

Telu Ram Cricket Tournament

Chandigarh: The Haryana Sports Welfare Association will organise the 1st Telu Ram Memorial U-12 Cricket Tournament at the TDL Cricket Stadium, Panchkula, and the Champs Cricket Academy, Panchkula, from December 2 onwards. Matches will be played under 30-over per innings format. Best bowler, best batsman, best fielder, best wicketkeeper and best player of the tournament will be adjudged in every match. The players born on or after January 1, 2013, will be eligible to participate in the tournament.
