The NSS wing and the Eco Club of the school in Sector 40-C here celebrated Vanmahotsav under the guidance of Principal Charanpreet Kaur. An array of activities, including speeches, skits, songs and poem recitation, were held. The students were administered an oath to spread awareness amongst people on the need for conserving environment by planting saplings. The staff and the students planted more than 300 saplings on the premises of the school.

The school organised an awareness programme for the students of nursery and KG on “Good Touch and Bad Touch”. The school doctor, Dr Indu, informed the children about acceptable as well as unfavourable touches. Principal Vijaya Sidhu emphasised the importance of various aspects of child safety and the role of schools in raising awareness among children.

Valley public school, Panchkula

A magic show was organised at the school. The fund raised by the school was donated to the District Council for Child Welfare. Students enjoyed the one-hour performance by the magician.

GGSVM, Ratwara Sahib

The school organised a “Rain walk” on its premises for the students of the pre -primary wing. Students, wearing raincoats and carrying colourful umbrellas, played with rainwater during the rain.
