The boys’ U-14 cricket team of St Xavier’s Senior Secondary School, Sector 44, have won the Edvantum Cricket Tournament.

In the final, the Sector 44 team posted a eight-wicket win over Yadavindra Public School (YPS), Mohali. Batting first, the Mohali outfit posted 104 in 20 overs. In reply, the Sector 44 team achieved the target in 12 overs with the help of Jamgam (65) and Rishab (20). Hemang and Yash took one wicket each for the bowling side.

Earlier, for the Mohali team, Gunveer scored 20 and Jaskunwar added 11 to the tally. Moksh, Rishab and Jagman took two wickets each. Jagman of St Xavier’s School was declared player of the tournament.
