Panchkula, February 10

St Xavier’s Senior Secondary School, Sector 44, thrashed their Mohali counterparts 6-0 to win the Chairman’s U-15 Soccer Cup at St Xavier’s High School, Panchkula, here.

Rishabh, Palkit, Alamjit, Sarvansh, Devansh, Ujjwal, Kushaan Maini and Aashish Rawat were part of the winning team.

Rawat was adjudged

the Best Player of the tournament.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
