In his complaint to the police, Dr Ranjit Singh had stated that gold jewellery was stolen from locker number 16 of room number 8, Gyane OT-1, between March 20 and April 11.

The police said the jewellery was found in a box kept in the OT. The police suspect that the person who had stolen the jewellery kept it back after getting to know that an FIR was registered.

However, cops said they would investigate the matter.
