The boys’ U-17 tennis team of Strawberry Fields High School, Sector 26, won the gold medal in the Strawberry Fields Cup held across five different disciplines. The team of St Kabir Public School, Sector 26, claimed the second position, followed by Vivek High School, Sector 38, at third position. Ranbir Singh Sandhu from the host school claimed the best player title.

The overall trophy for the best school was awarded to Strawberry Fields High School in both boys and girls categories.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
