Riyansh scored 15 points as Strawberry Fields High School, Sector 26, continued their winning streak in the boys’ U-14 category during the ongoing Sardar Bhagwant Singh Memorial Basketball Trophy at the Sector 42 sports complex. The Sector 26 team posted a 32-20 win over KV High Ground School. Anshum scored 10 points for KV High Ground.

In the girls’ U-12 quarterfinals, Saupin’s School, Sector 32, posted a 7-4 win over Sacred Heart School, Sector 26. Radhika from the winning team scored four points, while Grisha from Sacred Heart also scored four points. In the boys’ U-14 event, YPS School, Mohali, outplayed Learning Paths School, Mohali, 52-32. Simratjot from YPS was the top scorer with 19 points, while Jaskeerat from Learning Paths managed four points.

In the girls’ U-14 category, Vivek High School, Mohali, defeated Delhi Public School (DPS), 20-5. Gurrehmat scored 15 points for the winning side, while Anupriya added four for the losing side. Learning Paths School triumphed over YPS Mohali 24-11 as Khushnoor scored 16 points. Nehmat scored five points for the YPS team.

In the girls’ U-17 event, Learning Paths School beat Vivek High School, Mohali, 24-12 as Harneet scored 10 points. Navna scored seven points for the host team. In the girls’ U-19 category, Sacred Heart School, Sector 26, defeated Saupin’s School 7-2 as Renuka scored all points. Riyanshi posted two for the losing side. In another match, Vivek High School defeated Vivek High School 8-2 as Rahmat scored seven points for the winners, while Shahana from Mohali managed one.

In the boys’ U-10 category, Amity International School, Mohali won a close contest against Vivek High School, Mohali, 2-1. Kelvish scored both points for Amity, while Hayansh scored one for Vivek High School.
