Capital Strikers edged past Altruistian by four wickets in a low-scoring match of the Chandigarh Premier T20 League, at the Sector 16 Cricket Stadium. Chasing a modest target of 107, Strikers appeared in control initially, but found themselves in trouble at 71/6 before staging a late recovery to win the match in 17.4 overs.

Batting first, Altruistian were bundled out for 106 in 19.1 overs. Wicketkeeper-batter Sanchit Sahu (52 off 42 balls) was the main scorer for the side. Jaskirat Singh Mehra (3/12) and Karan Kaila (3/14) shared wickets for the bowling side.

In reply, Kaila (25) and wicketkeeper Arjit Singh (17) helped the side recover from early loss and win the match. Harshit Singh (3/23) was the main wicket taker for the bowling side. Earlier, Panchkula Bashers outclassed Talanoa Tigers by six wickets. Batting first, Tigers’ were bundled out for 122 as Abhishek Singh (41 off 20 balls) topped the score chart. Abhishek Saini (2/21), Tarannpreet Singh (2/23) and Tanmay Latka (2/25) shared wickets for the bowling side. In reply, Bashers chased down the target in 17 overs with the help of Ankit Kaushik (60 off 37 balls) and Tarannpreet Singh (23 off 22 balls).
