Students pledge to maintain cleanliness
Chandigarh, January 17
Swachhata Pakhwada, a fortnightly initiative focusing on the issues and practices of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, began at Mehr Chand Mahajan DAV College for Women here today.
Swachhata committee (commerce) of the college organised a swachhata pledge ceremony. During the ceremony, the staff and the students, led by Principal Nisha Bhargava, took a pledge to work towards the cause of swachhata as envisioned by Mahatma Gandhi and propagate the message of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
