Municipal Commissioner Amit Kumar today directed the inquiry committee to submit report within 15 days into the incident at Gaushala Maloya, where eight cattle lost their lives due to electrocution.

The unfortunate incident has raised serious concerns about animal safety and infrastructure maintenance within the gaushala.

A committee has been constituted to examine the circumstances leading to the electrocution.

The order directed the committee to identify the cause, including possible human error, technical failure or other factors, assess the extent of damage and loss and recommend preventive measures, to avoid such incidents in the future.
