Sukhbir Badal visits Mohali, highlights development work under Akali Dal

Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal visited Mohali on Saturday, attending two private events and holding meetings with party workers and local residents in the afternoon. He also took part in religious functions at Gurdwara Singh Sabha in Sectors 69 and 70.

During his visit, Badal met with SAD district president Parvinder Singh Sohana, Kamaljeet Singh Ruby, Kuldeep Kaur Kang, Harmanpreet Singh Prince, Manjit Singh Mann, Paramjit Singh Gill and several others.

On this occasion, he also congratulated eight cadets from the Maharaja Ranjit Singh Armed Forces Preparatory Institute (MRSAFPI), Mohali, who have graduated as part of the 148th batch of the National Defence Academy (NDA).

He further said, “Once SAD is back in power, the pace of development here will be increased further,” he said, while reminding those present that the international airport and other major infrastructure projects were undertaken during the tenure of the SAD government.
