The Panjab University (PU) 2025 Biophysics Summer Training Programme concluded at the Department of Biophysics with a valedictory function here today. PU Registrar Prof Yajvender Pal Verma awarded certificates to participants on the occasion.

Prof Verma encouraged them to pursue careers in scientific research and engineering. The four-week intensive programme aimed at equipping participants with practical skills and advanced knowledge in interdisciplinary domain of biophysics. Twenty-five students received hands-on training in biophysical techniques.

Department Chairperson Dr Tanzeer Kaur said the programme’s objective was to disseminate knowledge and inspire students to consider careers in biophysics.
