Anirudh Gautam won boys’ 100m freestyle event by clocking 1 minutes and 31.22seconds (1:31.22s) in the Under-11 age group, during the second day of the Swimming Tournament, organised by the UT Sports Department, at the Sector 23 All Weather Pool, Sector 23. He was closely followed by Kavish Mittal (1:36.03s) and Shabadjeet Singh (1:45.93s). In the girls’ event, Samiksha Chopra (1:40.94s), Nitya Aggarwal (1:42.69s) and Gulmyrah Kaur (1:59.33s) won medals.

Daksh Sidhu (57.90s) won the top position in the boys’ U-19 category, followed by Khamveer (59.69s) and Harshbir Singh (1:00.71s). In the boys’ U-14 age group, Vitharaya (  1:34.11s) won the 100m backstroke event, followed by Amanveer Singh (1:36.24s) and Yajat Tiwari (1:40.13), while in the girls’ U-14 age group, Vaidehi Sharma (1:30.58s), Pehal (1:49.68s) and Kamya Dhiman (1:51.40s) bagged the top three honors. Kavin Sharma took 1:07.32s to claim the top podium position in the boys’ U-17 group, while Tanmay Kaushik (1:50:48s) finished second and Mohammed Qamar Kabir(2:05:89s) took home the bronze medal. Khushi Puri (1:22:67s), Enya Garg ( 1:42:90s) and Gaina Seth (4:26:25s) won top three positions in the girls’ U-17 category.

In the boys’ U-11 age group, Shabadjeet Singh (53:45s) won the 50m backstroke event, followed by Gurminder Singh (58:88s) and Kanish (01:00:96s), while in the girls’ category, Vaibhavi Sharma (54:94s), Ajunee Singla ( 01:02:95s) and Samaira Singh (01:03:45s) bagged laurels. Dasksh (Daksh Sidhu (30:80s) emerged winner of the boys’ U-19 age group, followed by Chirag Mor (46:36s) and Arshpreet Singh (56:68s), while in the girls’ event, Rehat Kapoor (40:99s), Ustat Kaur (52:29s) and Deepanshi (01:03:95s) excelled over others. Chaitnya (1:17.56s) won the 100m butterfly event in the boys’ U-17 age group. He was closely followed by Hamir Dev (1:28:39s) and Partap Singh (1:32:07s). In the boys’ U-14 event, Aarav Malik (1:32:16s), Utkarsh (1:40:09s) and Falak (1:49:25s) won medals in the 100m breaststroke event, while in girls’ U-14 group, Vaidehi (1:47:47s), Alisha Negi (1:59:54s) and Jiaah Vij (2:00:20s) to bag medals. In the boys’ U-17 age group, Prikshit (54.57s) won the gold medal in the 100m freestyle, Kanishk Mann (1:08:48s) claimed second and Gaurav (1:09:03s) finished third. In the girls’ U-17 age group, Khushi Puri (1:13:12s), Prabhpreet Kaur (1:28:94s) and Yastika Nehra (1:31:04s) won medals.
