The Joint Teachers Association (JTA) and the Punjab and Haryana Employees Welfare Association (Deputationist) have decided to take out a foot march on March 24 towards the Chief Secretary’s office and hand over all documents regarding their deputation. Two days ago, these associations had urged the Chandigarh Administration to hold a meeting with them before making any policy regarding deputation.

Association president Ranbir Jhorar, JTA convener Dr Ramesh Chand Sharma, president Dinesh Dahiya, legal advisor Arvind Rana, general secretary Ajay Sharma, Dharam Singh and Pushpendra Barar said the Administration was forcing them to come out on streets, when all documents made it clear that there could be no time limit on employees coming from Punjab and Haryana.
