The Punjab Federation of University and College Teachers Organisations (PFUCTO) and the Panjab University Teachers Association (PUTA) have decided that teachers of the PU will suspend all evaluation work assigned to them by the university while opposing the delay on the part of the Punjab Government in implementing the UGC pay scales along with the pay scales of the 6th Punjab Pay Commission. The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
