Team Peacocks win golf meet

Team Peacocks from Panchkula Golf Club won the 8th Neelu Chopra Inter-Club Ladies Golf Championship, concluded at the Chandigarh Golf Club.

The team consisting of Babita, Jaspreet, Kulwant Kaur and Pritpal Kaur claimed the top honour with a score of 85. Team Birdie Bandits from Chandigarh Golf Club, consisting of Manpreet Sandhya, Binny Bath, Jaswinder Gill and Minna Singh, claimed the second position with 84 points.

Babbles Singh won the Straight Drive event, while Ashu Singh bagged the Nearest to Pin award. Vijay Wadhwan emerged as the stableford winners with a score of 30, while Neelam Gill bagged the second position with a score of 29.

Teams from Delhi, Noida, Panchkula, Patiala and Chandigarh participated in the event.
