Vatsal Manikantan of Gujarat overpowered A Nagpure of Maharashtra 6-4 7-5 to win the boys’ U-18 title, on the concluding day of the CLTA-AITA Super Series Tennis Tournament. In the boys’ U-16 final, another Gujarat player K Chothani beat Manikantan 6-0 6-3. Jaya Kapoor won the girls’ U-18 final by defeating Chandigarh’s Riya Kaushik 6-4 6-3. In the U-16 final, Jaya ousted A Raval 7-6(4) 6-1.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
