The police arrested three men for their alleged involvement in a house theft in DLF Valley. The operation was carried out by the Amravati Police Post team.

On August 5, a local resident lodged a burglary complaint at Amravati police post. Acting on the complaint, a special team under in-charge Preetam was constituted. Using intelligence inputs and technical surveillance, police arrested the suspects.

The arrested accused have been identified as Sanju alias Suraj, a resident of Pinjore; Ajay alias Katti, a resident of Chandimandir area; and Suraj alias Natti, a resident of Deoria district, Uttar Pradesh.

Meanwhile, a case of theft was registered at the Pinjore police station.

Investigations revealed that Sanju already faces four theft cases, while Suraj alias Natti is involved in two such cases. The third accused did not have a criminal background.

Following their arrest, the case was handed to the Detective Staff team led by Inspector Mandeep Singh. On interrogation, police recovered Rs 21,500 in cash, 11 silver coins and three stolen motorcycles. The accused were produced before court and later released on bail.
