The Chandigarh Police have arrested three drug peddlers from different parts of the city with heroin and opium.

A team of Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) nabbed two drug peddlers from near Kalagram light point with 30.58 gm of heroin. The arrested have been identified as Laiek Ahmad (40) and Naushed (36), both residents of Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh. A case under the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.

Another drug peddler, Sandeep (36), a resident of Mohali, was nabbed from near CTU workshop in Sector 43 with possessing 224 gm of opium. The police have registered a case at the Sector 36 police station.
