Three more fatalities were witnessed due to COVID-19 in Mohali district during the past 24 hours taking the toll to 287.

Meanwhile, 173 fresh COVID-19 poitive cases surfaced in the district till Thursday evening while 101 patients were cured and discharged from the hospitals.

Out of the total 173 positive Covid cases, 123 were from Mohali urban, 28 from Gharuan, 8 each from Kharar and Lalru, one from Banur and 5 from Dera Bassi.

As of now there are 15,919 covid positive cases and out of these 13,485 patients have been cured and discharged from hospitals. There are 2,147 active cases with 287 deaths in the district.
