In a clampdown on illegal gambling and betting under Operation Hotspot Domination, joint teams of the police and the Crime Branch conducted raids at three separate locations within a single day.

Three individuals involved in gambling activities were arrested, and cash along with betting-related material was recovered from all three sites.

Amravati Police Post team apprehended Abdul Mahboob of Pinjore, and recovered Rs 2,330. The Maranwala police team raided Verma Colony and arrested another accused, Yabook.

Besides, the Crime Branch Sector-19 team apprehended Davinder Singh, a resident of Kalka, for running a number-based betting operation in Rajiv Colony, Sector 17. Separate cases were registered.
