After two days of showers, light rain is expected again on Tuesday and Wednesday. According to the Met Department, lightning, accompanied by gusty winds with a speed up to 30-40 kmph, is likely during the two days.

However, weather is likely to be partly cloudy on Sunday while it will be generally cloudy on Monday.

The city today saw 32.2°C maximum temperature, two degrees below normal. Minimum temperature was 20.8°C, two degrees above normal. The temperatures are not expected to see a major change over the next two-three days.

The city today experienced showers in the evening accompanied by winds.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
