Chandigarh: The bookings for vaccination for the 18-44 age group scheduled for May 17 were cancelled on the CoWIN portal on Sunday morning, sending beneficiaries in a tizzy. However, the UT Health Department later assured that such beneficiaries can report to their respective centres on the scheduled date. They will be vaccinated on showing confirmation message received at the time of booking. UT Health Secretary Arun Gupta said, “All those in the 18 to 44 age group, who had booked appointment on the CoWIN portal for May 17, should reach their allocated vaccination centre. Kindly ignore any cancellation message sent to you from the CoWIN portal due to a technical snag.” TNS
