Traders meet Mohali MC chief, flag issues

Traders flagged their concerns during a meeting with the Mohali MC chief.

Punjab Traders Commission member Vineet Verma and presidents of various market welfare associations of Mohali today met MC Commissioner Parminder Pal Singh to resolve the issues being faced by traders. Instructions were given to carry out cleaning in the market early in the morning as the area is free of vehicles and public at that time.

Traders demanded shifting of resource management centre points from near the market places so that customers and shopkeepers do not have bear with the stench emanating from these points. They sought legal action against illegal vendors encroaching on parking spaces in markets. The traders also demanded proper maintenance of public conveniences or handing over the job to them.

Punjab Traders Commission member Vineet Verma has issued instructions to Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) and the Police Department to resolve the issues faced by traders at the earliest.
