Workers carry out a final inspection of CCTV cameras on the road separating Sector 27 and 28 in Chandigarh on Saturday. The UT Administration has installed nearly 300 CCTV cameras across the city to penalise traffic violators. The system will be made operational in January next year. A total of 2,000 cameras will go live at 287 junctions in the city in a phased manner.
