The Municipal Corporation (MC), in collaboration with the Punjab Vermicomposting Training Centre, organised a training session on vermicomposting practices for its horticulture field staff. The training, led by Gur Rajneesh, founder of the centre, was held in Sector 115, Mohali.

The session covered both theoretical and practical aspects of vermicomposting, with a focus on converting biodegradable waste into nutrient-rich compost through the use of earthworms. Rajneesh explained the various techniques involved and the importance of composting worms in the process.
