Hockey Chandigarh will conduct trials to select a local men’s junior team on September 9 (3 pm) at the Sector 42 Sports Complex.

Those selected will take part in 14th Hockey India Sub-Junior Men National Championship in the city from September 23 to October 3. According to Hockey Chandigarh general secretary Anil Vohra, players born on or after January 1, 2008, will be eligible to participate in the trials. Only those players can participate in the trials, who are registered with Hockey Chandigarh.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
